This novel is a humorous story of about life in an all girls college at the end of the 19th century. The focus of When Patty Went to College is the title character Patty Wyatt who has a struggle to conform to the way of life in an all girls college, and as a class clown she plays pranks and entertains her friends. Patty, well into her senior year, looks to the future to see what life will be like once she graduates.
